Shabbat

Shabbat (The Sabbath)

This is celebrated on the seventh day of the week.  It is a day of rest and worship.  It was given to commemorate the Creation and to confirm God’s special relationship with His Chosen People.  It is very important to observe Shabbat, more so than any of the holidays, as it is God’s fourth commandment, “Remember the day, Shabbat, to set it apart for God.”
